it's like 8 more days until youth season in indiana, right? anyways we've waited all summer and here it comes. any body got any monsters picked out?

My son is ready to take down my buck. I've been seeing a monster 175+. I would love if he got the chance to take it over Youth weekend but if he waits until the next week that would be ok.  |

sounds like a nice one. my dad saw a 13 in the field where i hunt. i've got pictures of a 130-140 class 9-10 pointer and my dad has been seeing a 8 pt about the same size of the 9-10 pt that has been hanging out with the 9-10pt

It doesn't look like i will be hunting much this year due to my dad is in the hospital with problems in his pancreas. If he makes it he might be in the hospital for months.

Thanks ya it sucks to know you spent so long preparing for this and i probably wont get to go now because i would but it wouldn't seem right without him, but i would rather have him get better than hunt anyway.

bow hunted lastnight 2 bucks came within 15 yards but then i got busted later 5 does came in at 25 yards shot and she ducked the arrow must of flown 1/2inch over her

hunterguy I'm very sorry to hear about your dads condition,and I know your feeling down but sometimes just talking about hunting and the old stories with him might bring you and dad in good spirits in such ruff times.

My dad is doing the same, not getting any better but not getting any worse. But i do have good news, one of my dad's friends from work is taking me hunting this weekend.
