Picked up a new block style target at Gander Mtn yesterday. Our old walmart target wouldn't stop the arrows from my new bow. This was the cheapest target I saw that could handle both field tips and broadheads, so I thought I would give it a try. I got the smaller version that was $40. It is on sale right now on their website. www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=428898&pdesc=Black_Hole_Open_Layered_Archery_Target_Small_20_x_16_x_11_9_lbs&str=black+hole+targe&merchID=4005#details_box_holder------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Pros:-Lightweight -Easy Arrow Removal -Layered Foam So it shoud last longer but only time will tell Cons:-Only 2 shootable sides ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I shot one arrow with a broadhead, it stopped it just as good as the field points but left a pretty big hole. The targets so thin all the arrows stick out the other side which I don't mind, but hope it keeps stopping them. There is one blank side which I kinda like so you can put what you want there. The Broadhead Hole

My target is a haybale, paint on a target and we're good to go! stops aroows great, i can shoot broadheads into it good, and you can goof off as much as i want without losing an arrow because of the size.

Nice Chase, I bought one of them for my boy when he got his first bow. I shoot at it also and like you said they stick through but stop. May I suggest shoot the same spot until it buries them to the fletch then pick a different one. When they are all worn down, put a ratchet strap around it and tightener up good. It will be like new.

Nice target, but I don't recommend shooting to many broad heads at it,it will tear it up.

I shoot at one of these occassionally, but I know the target I use receives heavy, heavy use. We are very satisfied with it. Its portability, durability, and ease of use.
