I am just wondering...How many of you would be interested in participating in a BBB fantasy football league this year?

I would definitely be interested. I started doing fantasy football last year and it was addicting and fun. Yahoo Sports has a really good draft system and game day system.

...and it's free! Yahoo is what I use for the other leagues I am in.

I'm in! I'm an "old school" player, started back in '92 before we had this internet thing. We had to get our stats via telegraph or pony express and figure up the scores ourselves, not by a click of the mouse. I'll have to show you young punks how it's done.

I would do it even though I've never tried it before. I think this will be a lot more fun than the Pick 'em we did last year for football.

well, fantasy football is like having a football team. there is a draft at the start of the season and you draft players for all the offensive positions and then you usually choose a teams defense. (this is the league rules for the league I play in. there are different versions). Then you choose what players to start each week at the various positions. Different points are awarded for the performance of the players depending on how good they play that week. Thats where the fun starts because you have to look at defensive match-ups and decide what players to start to get the most points. Then you are matched up with another player and whoever has more points wins the game. It goes on all season til the playoffs where different leagues have different rules.

If we get a few more interested, I'll get the league set up. We need at least 8 teams for this to be effective but we can accept up to 12 teams. Please post on this thread whether you are interested or not. Remember it is free. This would be a good opportunity for those of you who have never played to get involved and learn why fantasy fb is so popular. I pretty sure you won't regret it! If anything, you'll regret not playing years ago

That makes 4. Any other takers out there? Monty, Booey, Catfishsam? I'd sure like to get at least 8 teams, the more teams there are the more fun the league is
