I've thought about getting one to set above the ladder stand for the cameraman. That one doesn't look very comfortable though.

I had the big thick seat that swiveled years ago, it only fit a couple trees right. and never was very comfortable. I would say they are more for the old stand-up hunters who would like to just sit down for a minute at a time. Because they are not fit for somebody to sit more than 5 minutes in. At least not somebody my size.

not sure if you already bought one or not, but I just got the Sportsman's Guide Hunting catalog and they had a really nice looking one made by Guide Gear for like $30.00. it looked really comfortable too.

I would have to agree with everyone else,I used one of those seats in a ladder stand an was not very comfortable at all. But on the other hand,I'am one of those hunters that only sit for five minutes at a time. It worked good for that if your one of those kind of hunters. I also only hunt the first and last four hours of daylight maybe you like to stay out longer and I don't recommend this seat for long periods of seating.
