Well i was out on the pond fishing today, and decided to make my way around to the back of the pond and work the dam. While makeing my way back there, I spooked up a Buck!! he took off haulin @$$ down the backside of the dam right to my food plot. I tell you what when he seen me and decided to run, i could of swore it was a horse! When he was running down the dam i noticed he had a nice velvety rack startin. I would say the rack was about 6-8 inches tall, with a base diaameter of 2 inches or so. and the top of his rack where the horns are, was allready forked, and they were about 2 inches in diameter them selves! He SHOULD prove to be a GREAT buck once huntin season gets here, if he lives. COME ON OCT. 1. God I cant wait !!!!

I'd much rather be sitting next to a pond on a warm evening getting ready for some bass fishing than freezing my butt of in the woods in winter. But if its like you said and a monster would sneak up on me then I'll be out there. LOL

I made the trip over to a buddies house last night to set off some fireworks with him and his family. Between my house in Sullivan and Dugger I counted 9 deer in a couple different bean fields. 2 were bucks; 1 looked young but the other was a potential shooter.
