Well I went on my last rabbit hunt of the year today. Wasn't the best conditions for the hounds but we ran 5 and killed 3. We had 3 on 4 shots with .22's until I opened my big mouth about how efficient we had been. After that we had lead flying every where but no fur. If it wasn't my last day to hunt I'd be heading for the nearest Walmart.

Thanks Chase. We could've probably killed one or two more but we had to leave at 3:30. We ended up pulling them off a rabbit, which I hate to do but Cupid got in the way. I had to take my wife out to eat which is the direct result of cupid's arrow and my hunting partner had to go to his grandaughters birthday party which has a little something to do with cupid as well. This will not be then end of my hound running for the year because I have a pup to start. March is my favorite time to run beagle hounds anyway. Its a little warmer then and the scenting conditinos are usually ideal.
