After the youth hunt my season went well. I didnt get a ton of ducks but we saw many. i made a duck blind but then it got way to cold and i didnt really want to go stand in the freezing water so i didt get to use it. at school i have had a lot of my friends come up to me and ask me if i will take them out waterfowl hunting next fall so i think next season is gona be a blast.

Tonight i saw 5 big toms strutting in the field i will be hunting this weekend. I got out my mouth call and they were gobbling on every yelp. Going out tomorrow night to watch them again. Hopefuly my browning rage bow will take those big ole toms down.

Any shotgun will work for duck hunting. Iuse a remington 870 12 gauge the same gun i use for turkey hunting and the only shotgun my friend owns is a single shot 20 gauge that he uses for any kind of bird hunting.
