Good to see you guys have been getting out. I should be in a tree this weekend. I've been busy because I just got hired at Berry Plastics in Odon. Also, one of the "real-life" things Dad is referring to is I'm getting married the 24th. Congrats Chase!!! Hope she likes to be by your side a lot! It helps you get tree stand and boat seat time.

I would love to see an occasional bear or elk roaming the banks of Cataract.

I live about 10 miles from the Michigan line and they have just about priced me out of their natural resources. I might have to get a daily non-resident fishing if I decide to head out for some perch on the big lake. Will see.

I tell you what Troy, you almost have a deal lol! I'm sure with enough man power and trash bags we can get it cleaned up! OH, and don't forget if you have enough manpower, you'll need enough beer!!!!! Haven't seen a boat blow up for a long time!

Daybreak, I hope you slipped down to LOTW this weekend and got into some of those 'eyes! I guess I need to say that it is still on my list of "to do's". I didn't get any fishing done this weekend, due to the rain on Saturday and family stuff on Sunday. I am going to try and get out this week. Wish it would warm up just a little bit.

I decided to fish my local lake today and try and get some fish for the wife. I kept about 20 bluegill, 7" and up using a Rat Finkee with a B-moth, fished under a bubble bobber at 5' deep. The fish were in about 8-10' of water around some emerging weed beds. Surface temp was about 54 degrees this afternoon. This weekend should be on fire.

That's a pretty good site. I have been a member for quite a few years, but don't post much there either. Some really good crappie fisherman from the Indy area stay pretty active and up to date on what is going on.

I've stopped by to peak a few times and today decided to register. I have been fishing all over Indiana for the past 30+ years. (Home during those 30 years was Indy, Cincinnati, Evansville, Kokomo and Goshen/Elkhart.) Since moving to northern Indiana in 1998, most of my fishing has been up here during that time. I learned to bass fish on Lake Monroe and the strip pits. Have been to almost all the surrounding states to fish and have learned a lot during that time. Hopefully, I can share some of what I have learned to help others enjoy the sport as much as I have.
