altho i agree and it DOES make me sick..and i normally carry a trash bag or a couple plastic shopping bags just for this problem and make it a habit to clean up garbage when i see it. Let me give out a word of warning by relaying a tale from a couple seasons ago.... A couple seasons back, i went to Lake Webster to hit a couple top quality crappie holes. But it had been raining so much that spring, the channels where pumping and looked like chocolate milk...the bite just wasnt happening. One to not be dettered and not wanting to waste the gas...i bounced it up to one of the "pit" lakes in the Tri County FWA. I set up my 5 gallon bucket and begun to fish along the shore. I look down and notice trash laying on the bank and was disgusted, internally cussing a blue streak about litter pigs and their ilk and vowing to clean it up before i left. About 10 minutes into my fishing i see a Indiana State police cruiser pull in. I pull out my wallet and double check that i have all my proper paper work. I hear the car door close and prepare to be checked...but after about 5 minutes no officer. About 15 minutes later, here he comes down the trail from the other direction. He walks up looks around my location and starts toeing the trash I had been cussing about. I say, "Yeah, damn litter pigs, i will pack that out when i leave." He says "Dont touch it!" Taken aback, i say, "Well, its my habit to pick trash up that idiots leave lay." He repeats much more forcibly, "DO NOT TOUCH IT!!" I say, "ummm why not??" He says, "that is a mobile meth lab! DO NOT touch it!!" I say, "So, if i would have picked that a few minutes ago and tossed in the back of the truck like had been planning??" He says, "i would have arrested you for production and transport of a controlled substance." So basically for being a good samaritan i would have lost my gun, my CCW permit and spent time in jail and had mega fines as well. The moral of the story kiddies, educate yourselves on what mobile meth labs look like and BE CAREFUL out there!!!!

She has made comments about being interested in starting out in the archery world, but shes a lefty, me and the boys are rightys and we have no interest in dumping $4-600 on something she may or may not like/enjoy.

2 weeks ago i was invited to a guys place to take part in his annual machine gun shoot. Needless to say the son and I had a grand ole time. The reason it has taken me a week to post this stuff up is my camera took a ricochet and it has taken me a week to recover the video. Needless to say my high $$ Canon video camera is TOAST. But i guess its better to replace the camera after taking a ricochet in the view finder than to take the ricochet in my throat...as would have happened if it wouldnt have hit the viewfinder. Anywho....ENJOY i know we did!! Instead of a "shotgun" start to the festivities, it was a "Cannon" start!Fun with tannerite!!One of the guys that invited me shooting his suppressed M11...The shot that destroyed my camera....again better to take one in the view finder than in the throat!! (Caution, some course language)The highest level of entertainment! not an MP3, not an MP4 but a full auto MP5!!! (It has a modified competition trigger, hence the "shooters issues")The G-18 in action! Thats right kiddies, a FULL AUTO Glock 9 mm pistol!!!Plate rack and the 1911! Some of the plates were "frozen up" so they were tough to drop. 14 shots, 12 pings...not terrible IMHO My youngest having his first "orgasm". He got to shoot the Browning 1919. This is the footage I shot.... The footage my buddy that invited me to this shindig took of the boy shooting the 1919.and a still shot of the 1919 in action... The 1919...Tons of Indiana fun had by all!!!

ABOUT TIME!!!
As i have stated from the start, when all the hoopla about these creatures started. These fish are 100% vegan and not the bottom feeders our "traditional" carp are. "Set the commercial fisherman on them, without limit, and they'll be extinct in no time at all! Lets not call them "carp"! We need give them a name like "Freshwater tuna" or some such to make them more marketable."
I would eat these dogs in a heart beat!! I DO NOT eat hot dogs or bologna!!! These dogs have GOT to be better and better for you than the pig, chicken, cow "spare parts" swept off the processing room floor your eating now!!

nice gun fmj. Ill have to look into them. I am going to a gun show in Indy the beginning of June so I will see what I can find there. www.slickguns.com/product/palmetto-state-armory-16-m4a1-carbine$599.99?!!? That right there is a KILLER deal...i would jump on it with both feet....i am NOT happy as it is a lot less than what i paid for mine. Slick guns was running a free shipping thing this weekend....sorry, day late and a dollar short on my end to help you there. But still, even with shipping and FFL transfer you will be money WAY ahead of the Indy 1500. I went to the show back St Pattys day weekend....Not a deal to be found on AR's. Even the DPMS guns on display were much more than what i paid for my PSA...and you have to factor in TAX at the show.

After a hectic semester and doing finals the first week of May. Then a flying trip up to Northern Michigan to finish up my moms duct work/new Air conditioning job. (had to charge the unit as it was way to cold to do when i went up and tore out and fixed the duct work and installed the new coil and condensing unit) I was FINALLY able to escape for some MUCH needed trout fishing. a.k.a. stress relief/mental therapy. Got to the river about 9 a.m. after a late start and started floating. I had the entire river to myself, didnt see another soul the entire day! The first run I tried produced nothing. So i continued to float and came upon another likely looking run, so i hopped out of the canoe and commenced casting, on the second cast, BAM! Fish on! First victim of the 2012 campaign...I continued to fish through this run for a while with no more luck. So, i hopped in the boat and continued my leisurely float. I came to the next likely run, a place i know always holds fish. Its a fast moving "Chute" or narrow with some downed oaks in it and over hanging oaks to boot. Good gravel and some bigger boulders. theres a deep, wide pool at the top and bottom of the run. I started casting and in a few casts, BAM! FISH ON!! Contestant #2...I continued to cast and hooked and landed a chubby creek chub. Continuing to work this chute there was a massive grab and the drag commenced to scream. After a fairly lengthy battle i got to see my adversary and it was a good sized and extremely feisty 'bow. But he absolutely refused to be bagged...even had him the net once, which he promptly jumped out of....after 3 attempts to net him, he finally spit the hook in my face, gave me the fin and went back to his home. I worked the chute for a while longer, was about to give it up and float on to a couple other likely haunts when BAM! its game on again. Contestant #4....After this i decided to let the run rest, hopped in the canoe and continued my leisurely float. Fully enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of the forest coming back to life after her winters slumber. I came upon the final hole of the float, a place that i have learned normally holds some seriously large trout flesh. After a few casts into the hole, i feel the take and the battle is ON! My gear is getting a serious work out! Then finally i see why..... On light tackle in a moderate current THIS makes for a fun battle...With that fat slob hoarding all the feed in the hole its no wonder there were no trout at home.... As i continue to fish in this hole, I notice some action in an adjacent swampy area that drains into this hole. I am watching a plover feeding on plentiful insects. Plover...I then notice more movement...movement heading in the direction of the above Plover. Look closely!!! Fat snake either looking for a meal or a place to sun...(My camera is broke and i cannot upload video i shoot to the computer due to the malfunction (i MUST scrounge the coin and remedy this issue and soon) but i did roll film and got some great footage of the action, from which comes these next pics) I thought for sure i was going to get a chance to capture on film some nature in action... the video i shot is great as you can see the snake slowly heading right at the plover....but it never struck, just crawled on by.
