Good job on sticking with it. But there is something that concerns me about the leg being broke an maybe having gang-green. Or the coyotes giving it rabbis. I don't know how these things effective deer, an being able to making them into table fare, just something you may want to look into it just to be on the safe side.

I'd say those guy's got off to easy, which is bullsh@t. But that's how justice system works here in Indiana. I get pretty upset finding out about things like this. I love the idea of Indiana trying to become a trophy deer state, but the word is getting around an more of this is probably going to start happening. Troy I hope this didn't effect your deer hunting to bad but probably the safety of knowing how close to home it happen is enough my thoughts are with you and your family.

I know what you mean about ground hunting with a bow,it's my favorite as while killed more deer on the ground(more mobile). But once firearm season starts I become a tree sniper. Good job.

I had a little bit better luck on my first deer, but it took me probably 2-3 years to be able to tell the difference between a yearly and a more mature doe. And after 13 years of hunting I still some times shoot a yearly thinking it was bigger than what it was. Just tell everybody it must of been holding it's breath an it looked bigger. Nice job on your of many

The last time I rented a charter was for the guys that stood up in my wedding as a gift. I was working out of town all year and didn't have time to do much fishing this year due to working lots of hours. I took a week off of work for labor day and spent two days at Ludington,MI with my buddy Mark. He use to be a charter captain out of Michigan City but just fishes for fun/tournaments on Lake Michigan. Do to the lack of time I meet Mark up at Ludington and fished out of his 18ft. starcraft and slamed the big four year old KING'S. This was my first trip to Ludington an Mark has been wanting to show me the ropes up there for awhile and I would say he did. On this trip I never had so many fish breaking good gaimakatsu treble hooks. The picture with me wading in the water was took on the first week of October which is a annually trip every year up to Manistee,MI with the wife an no kids.
