Does anyone know how to clean a turtle? I checked youtube and couldn't find anything. Since I'm into weird and exotic foods, I'd like to try some turtle. I've never had it before. My grandpa used to talk about how much he loved eating turtle soup.

we just do them here at the house with a garden hose, or take them to the carwash. cut the head off, but leave the neck. shove the hose down there, and hold the pressure around the neck with your hands. he will swell up like a beach ball, and that will tear the shell apart. then just skin him, and bone him. and there is lots of other ways to do it. here is a link for a site i found a while back. www.instructables.com/id/How-to-clean-a-turtle/

i had turtle once at a survival camp...probly not the smartest way to do it but we just cut some meat of where we could and stuck it on a grate over the campfire

Here's one we found up in the northern part of Oz - Green sea turtle. It was dead when we found it.
