Just got in from another successful day of musky fishing. Well..what is a successful day of fishing?? Is it when you catch a limit, fill your freezer or just go out and have a great time on the water with a good friend?? I vote for the latter.. Don and I got started at 5:30 this morning and with the forecast I was expecting some action!! Welllll..It was slow going..I had one follow around noon and that was it for the casting. The barometer was showing about 29.8 all day and in the last 1.5 hours it dropped to 29.6 and the fish turned on We ended the day with 2 fish in the last hour. The largest being 36" er that thought he was 46 Even though we did not get a 40+ on the board, we felt pretty good about the day on the water. The next few weeks should be the start of the late summer, early fall bite that I like sooooo much and my boat should be ready for the peak of the action!! SYOTW!!! Randy Attachments:

Way to go guys! A bad day fishing beats a good day at work anytime. And your day sounds like it was pretty darn good to me. My gosh Randy, have you been out this year when someone didn't boat a musky? You're giving these "fish of 10,000 casts" a bad name!
