Cool finds but that kind of sucks all at the same time! That's what I thought. That top one looks like it was pretty nice! I'm pretty discouraged again with this mushroom season. It's hard to believe with all the rain and flooding we had a while back, but the woods need some moisture! This is another year where I'm finding them in random places instead of my usual patches.

The weekends haul. Most were found within site of the front door. The only good news is that these are the first ones found on this property since Gail has lived here.

I've seen a few BIG piles on facebook and instagram from friends around the Linton area. Looks like the big ol' yellows are up.

I just had 6 days off from work and these 2 dried up things is all I could find. Definitely one of my worst mushroom seasons ever!

It's been the worst mushroom season I can remember for a long time. I've had a few other folks tell me the same thing.
Someone must have been out there finding them, because TOSTP was selling them for $50 a pound and the owner said he had sold close to forty pounds.
