I'm debating whether to go to Glendale or Cagles mill tomorrow. Never been to either lake. Anyone heard any reports lately or have any tips to get me started on new water?

On thursday I stopped at the bottom of the cagles mill dam. They had it wide open so the water was pretty high and fast... only good water was a swirling eddy near where the small creek flows in. The bait stealers were out in full force. Caught one small bass on a whole box of crawlers. The main lake was still very high.

Well I didn't make it to Glendale or Cagles Mill. The wife held us up with some stuff she needed to get done Sunday morning. Went to Monroe instead. Dragged jigs and crawlers in the Salt Creek Idle zone. I didn't feel like going anywhere else and joining the rat race on the open lake. Picked off a few "decent" gills for Monroe standards and the typical yellow bass in 10-15 foot of water. No walleye which is what I was after.

I hope you can figure those lake walleyes out. I just simply can't get on em. Let me know when you do!
