I feel like I got picked up by a twister after the Shakamak meet n greet in April, but things have settled down and my feet are back on the ground and it's fishin' time again. My buddy "Kipper Jim" now owns a place on Fox Lake south of Terre Haute and we spent a few chilly hours in the boat yesterday. I wasn't expecting them to be biting real good, but they were and I think we could have filled the freezer if we had wanted to. I was tight lining red worms and beemoth, but after losing a few hooks on the bottom I switched to one of my tiny rooster tails and it did just as good. Jim was casting little crappie jigs and caught several hand sized gills along with a few small crappie and bass.

Looks like a good time on the water.
That also looks like a pretty nice pit.
