Candied Bird Dog Bourbon Whiskey Bacon Makes 6-8 servings 1 package thick-cut bacon 1/4 cup Bird Dog Bourbon Whiskey 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
Preheat oven to 400°. Line a half-sheet pan with aluminum foil. Place cooling rack on top of foil. Arrange bacon in a single layer on cooling rack. Bake 10 minutes or until about halfway cooked. In a small bowl, combine Bird Dog Bourbon Whiskey and sugar. Brush bacon with Bird Dog Bourbon Whiskey mixture. Bake 2 to 3 minutes. Brush with Whiskey mixture again, and bake 2 to 3 minutes longer or until crisp. Let cool and serve.

I've never had Bird Dog Bourbon, but I LOVE ME SOME BACON!! I keep a bottle of Jack D Tennessee Honey, but gonna have to get a bottle of BDW just to try this. I have seen a lot of Bacon and Whiskey combos lately, mostly on the Food Network, and Travel Channel.
