Anyone ever microwave sweet corn? I don't do it a lot, but I have gone up to the folks' corn patch a couple times today and grabbed an ear that nuked in my garage kitchen. It's not bad at all, I actually like this better than the traditional boiling method. I grilled some yesterday and couldn't stop eating the stuff! Mom and Dad have been covering theirs with olive oil, salt and pepper then grilling it and eating it without butter. Think I'll try that next time.

I gave this a try and I must say "It's a winner"! I love how the corn comes out clean every time with no mess. I will also add that the hot pad is must. The husk gets pretty dang hot! I've got a burn mark to prove it
