Well next week my son and I are headed for the pits. Hope the gills are starting to bed up down there. Fingers crossed with everything being a little behind up north here hope it's better there. Reservoir 26 campground gray ford f250. Feel free to stop by and say hi. Be there Thursday afternoon. Andy

Haven't heard anything about the gills yet, but the crappie are still being caught. This warm up might get them on the beds though. Not sure what my weekend schedule looks like yet, but I'll try to swing by. Good luck!

My son said he wanted to stay at Wampler instead of 26. Caught a few warmouth and gills today. Cold front has put the gills off there beds. Didn't find any big hogs yet maybe in the next couple days. Get rid of the rain and warm up a little.

Thought you weren't coming down until the 22nd? Or are you not down here? I'm confused.

Wife put a damper on the 22nd. So we came down Thursday. My son did a swan dive out his kayak today getting out of it. Lost his pole to finish off he was having a no fish day he wanted to come home so we left tonight around 8:30. Next year I might come by myself. He said never again. Old dad showed him I can still out fish him lol. Two day total I caught 21 fish. No hog gills, but a lot of warmouth. I think another week the bluegills will be spawning. I'll get up with you one day Troy.
