Wanted something I could throw in the truck by myself and not take up a lot of space in the barn. This fit the bill nicely. Had just started pricing new when I found this on Hoosier Topics with pretty much the set up I wanted. Even had a bonus fish finder.

I love those boats. Stable and light.

I used to have one of those for fishing the pits. I got rid of it when my buddy sold his cabin down there Believe it or not, we used to fish three people out of it on a pretty regular basis. It handled three people incredibly well. One time the three of us were fishing in it and it rained and rained. Eventually we ended up getting about 4" of water in the boat. We were catching fish so fast that we were just throwing them in the bottom of the boat and using it as a livewell! It still had no problem staying afloat. We had to be way over the weight limit. You won't regret that purchase!

Nice! I have one very very similar to that. Mine's a "Buster Boat" by Splash Marine (Oklahoma City). I've had it since 1993 and except for a couple of oxidized rivets in the seat brackets and some "hazing" of the plastic on the seats it still looks like new. I swear that thing is like cockroaches, twinkies, and old Ford pickups. It seems like it will last forever. It is a LOT of fun - and easy to use. The only issues I have are mostly related to my "roubustness" I weigh about 260. If I am in it by myself sitting in front with the trolling motor mounted in the front it doesn't track well UNLESS I clamp the rudder on the back. (Back end if very light with no one sitting back there. ) If I put the trolling motor on the back and sit in back then it tracks better but even then it can get a bit squirrely at full thrust (with no weight in front) . Of course squirrely at 7 MPH isn't too scary - just something you have to keep your attention on or you end up sliding across a lake in a direction you aren't wanting to go. I've duck hunted from mine - EASY to camo with some homemade pvc pipe racks. And plenty of room for a dog plus dekes, cooler, etc. You have the opportunity there for a LOT of simple low hassle fun!
