Chase and me went up to Terre Haute this evening to watch the ISU Sycamores "shock" the undefeated WSU Shockers, but they came up a bit short. They definitely had a chance even though they shot poorly all evening. They were within 2 with just a couple minutes to go and then proceeded to hit only 50% from the line down the stretch.
The view from the cheap seats. About 5 minutes into the game it was filled up pretty good. I think there was officially 9,200...about a thousand shy of capacity. That's the biggest crowd I've seen there since I was in the stands in November of 2000 and watched Michael Menser sink two 3-pointers in the last 8 seconds to defeat the Indiana Hoosiers.
Frenchy now attends ISU and Chase sent him a text asking if he was attending the big game. He was at a night class that let out early and joined us.
We did have a good time even in a loss. Sorry about my cheap cell phones crappy pics.
