It went GREAT. Until the cop showed up and picked Troy out of the crowd. (and the "LEMONADE" had to be hid) I think everyone there caught fish and had a great time

Glad almost everyone could make it! We will have to do it again! MOST DEFINITELY! Only next time, it will have to be a LITTLE warmer. Even though we had a VERY nice day to be out there.

Sounds like it was a great time! Hey anthony, I noticed you said you were gonna be up in Lodi, Ohio in February. That's right in my neck of the woods. The pond I post a lot of my pictures from is maybe 2 minutes away from Lodi. Same with the farm I hunt. You might want to check out Spencer Lake for some ice fishing. It's really close to Lodi. Spencer LakeCan't go wrong with Lake Erie though, especially if you want a shot at some walleye and perch. Mostly gills and crappie in Spencer along with bass and cats. What brings you up this way?

I had a great time! I always look forward to these gatherings. I was really shocked and happy at the turnout we had. We've never had this good of a turnout for a "warm" weather event, lot alone one on the ice. It would've been nice if the fish would've been a little more cooperative. But, Oh well, I had fun regardless. I also learned on Monday that my ice fishing suit can keep me warm through any conditions. Troy is already talking about putting something together for the spring. Hopefully we can get a good turnout for that one also. I'll try my darndest to be there too!

I'll be up there for training. TA/Petro's home office is in ohio, and one of their two training centers is in Lodi. Last time I was there, I stayed in Seville, at the Comfort Inn, and while driving around after class, I found a LITTLE park with a pond down the road. I more than likely wont go to Eire due to time constraints, but will definitely be bringing my ice gear. We'll have to get together and do some fishing while I'm there.

Actually, after setting on the ice for an hour racking my brain trying to figure out where I knew him from....I believe I met him before and he was one of the guys from Chase's First Duck video! Oh, and I'm not sure what's in your "lemonade".....but it doesn't freeze in sub-zero temps!

I know. You just have to shake it up a little, and its back to the good stuff. I'll have some more for the next get together. Likely some apple pie, or a different flavor though. maybe a little of both
