I know where a couple dens are, one i know is always active, and i want to get some snares to trap them. Has anyone ever done this or no where you can get cable snares?

Why not just set up near it and shoot them?

I know that Spencer Bait and Tackle has a decent amount of trapping supplies.

Why not just set up near it and shoot them? I have called near it several times, to no avail. I blame my POS calls.

Even though its easier, I wouldn't trap right at the den site. If they feel pressured, they will pack up and move quick. I would find trails, and fence crossings a couple hundred yards away, and make my sets there. If you've not had experience with steel traps, I'd use snares. They are cheaper, and a lot easier to make multiple sets, to cover all their routes.
