Just wanted to share this report with this forum. My name is Eric.I live in Bloomington and have always wanted to get down to bass lake and only fish for muskie.I am mainly a bass guy but have always wanted to do this.I bought a hand full of lures a little over a year ago and spent last sunday Oct.9th doing just that.Me and my buddy was on the water at 7:30 and by 9:30 I landed my first muskie. It was 41inches long and really thick. Two hours later and I had one follow to the boat.It would not take on a figure 8.Two hours after that I was hooked up again. The battle only lasted 15-20 seconds before the the fish spit the lure.It was a great day and for sure beginners luck. Congrats Eric! And thanks for sharing that report. Better watch out for that musky bug; that hand full of lures might turn into a boat full!

Heck of a nice musky. After reading reports on here I have the itch to land some toothy critters this year.
