Personally, i would stear any and ALL away from ANY Taurus.
Had one, it was JUNK! It spent more time in transit going back to the factory then at the range. First 50 rounds it broke, second 25 it broke again, couldnt get another 50 thru it before it was headed back to the factory AGAIN!
Buy American!!!!!
We have alot of GREAT firearms manufacturers in this country that NEED our support!
Springfield Armory
Smith and Wesson
Kel Tec
Ruger

While I agree with FMJ on the buying American I have a friend who owns 2 Taurus handguns and neither one has ever failed (9mm semi and 8 shot 357 revolver). My old S&W 500 magnum is one that I had to send back to the factory for repairs. Now, with that said, hopefully within the next year I'll have a .44 revolver. Will I buy a Taurus or a Smith? It will be a Smith.
Another friend owns a Judge and his reasoning for wanting one is the 410 shot shells will not penetrate walls. This was his ideal gun for home defense with kids in the house.

I have a Taurus .38 plus P and love it. My opinion is Taurus makes some great revolvers.

Never made it to Bradis, but really liked Kermit at Plainfield Shooting Supplies. He's a big Glock guy. Let us know what you think of Bradis. I've heard mixed reviews.

A thought...
HUGE gun and knife show, over 1500 tables, in Indy this weekend. I know i will be there Saturday hunting a Ruger Model 44 or an AR-15, stainless bushing and barrel for the 1911.

Me and a buddy are talking about going up Saturday. If we don't make this show we'll definatly hit the one in October.

Buddy text me last night and said he's got soccor games to go to Saturday so now we're making plans to hit the October show. The fall/winter shows tend to be the better shows anyway.
