About 3 or 4 years ago they started showing up here around north Arkansas. The hog population is starting to grow more and more on larger farms. I know of a few that have been killed ,and I have heard of several people seeing them. I have a feeling hogs are going to be just like armadillos were around 2001.

They've been there longer then 4 years... My grandpa and cousins have farms close to Marion, West Memphis, and Marked Tree, and they have been covered since the early 90's. We have trapped and shot a ton of them, but they reproduce so quickly it is hard to stop them.

They ain't big around Little Rock, but they are there. Mainly on the river bottoms like the Mississippi, St. Francis, White, etc.
