How many ice fisherman are on here? With this cold weather I'm ready to start drilling some holes! We don't get a lot of ice here in southern Indiana, but I love to get out when it's on. We fish Shakamak State Park and sometimes a private pit over in Owen County. I'd like to try some new places this year and possibly make a trip north for some perch. Anyone else going out on the hard water this year?

Troy, I know they catch perch over at Summit Lake out by the dam. I haven't ever went for the perch there just the bluegill. I will let you no when the ice gets good. Not enough yet though

I get out some..but not as much as I used to. Perch fishing used to be good on Tippy and Dewart but I have not been out there in over 10 years. You should hit Airline Pit for some more of those redear and jig for trout while your watching bobbers.
